Were looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our high performing Modernisation team in Melbourne. You will be exposed to a fantastic environment where you will be part of a team managing the modernisations of elevators.

This is a full-time opportunity offering an autonomous environment with a variety stability with support from the wider business.

What will you be doing

• Attending to minor and major upgrades/repairs

• Working across Elevators and Escalators projects

• Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health quality and safety standards

• Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region

What are we looking for

• Qualified Certificate 111 in Mechanical Engineering desired

• Trade tickets desired- Dogging Advanced Rigging

• Experience working on elevators or escalators

• Experiencing working across modernisation preferred but not required

• Motivated and self- starter who can manage workload and competing priorities

• Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality

• A customer service mindset

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
