Position Overview

Best Doors part of the global dormakaba group is seeking a reliable and motivated Installer to join our Hervey Bay branch on a permanent basis. This hands-on role is responsible for installing servicing and repairing a wide range of door and access solutions while delivering exceptional customer service. Full in-house training will be provided making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with an industry leader.

What you will do

Install and repair industrial doors roller doors sectional doors and access systems
Work with automatic door openers gate openers and specialised products
Safely operate hand and power tools on customer sites
Deliver quality workmanship and excellent customer service
Work collaboratively with the branch team to meet customer requirements
Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and compliance

What we require

Current C Class Drivers Licence
Ability to confidently use a variety of power tools
Physical capability to undertake manual installation work
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable punctual and committed work ethic
Willingness to work overtime during busy periods when required

What we prefer

Previous experience in construction maintenance installation or a trade-related environment
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude
