Croft & Fisher is partnering with a highly regarded professional services firm to appoint an Insolvency Restructuring & Advisory Accountant into a specialist and growing team.

This role offers exposure well beyond traditional accounting ideal for someone who wants to work on complex real-world matters across restructuring forensic accounting transactions and advisory projects.

The Opportunity

You will be involved in a broad range of insolvency restructuring and advisory engagements working closely with experienced practitioners across multiple disciplines. The work is varied technically challenging and highly engaging suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and commercial thinking.

Key Areas of Work

Your responsibilities may include involvement across the following service lines:

  • Business restructuring and insolvency including bankruptcies liquidations and voluntary administrations

  • Forensic accounting and litigation support including investigations business valuations and examinations

  • Business consulting including financial modelling and forecasting

  • Indigenous Business Advisory supporting economic development and governance outcomes

  • Transaction support including due diligence and pre-lend reviews

  • Projects and Infrastructure Advisory supporting large-scale and complex initiatives

You will work directly with senior team members legal advisers financiers and stakeholders gaining exposure that significantly accelerates your career.

About You
  • Background in insolvency restructuring forensic accounting or advisory (public practice preferred)

  • Degree qualified in Accounting

  • CA or CPA (completed or in progress) highly regarded

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working across multiple engagements and deadlines

  • Professional communication skills and attention to detail
