Job Summary

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Inside Sales Consultant based in Melbourne. Youll focus on qualifying inbound leads converting them into opportunities and sales and conducting proactive outbound calls to existing customers and prospects.

What youll do as Inside Sales Consultant:

  • Qualify inbound leads and convert marketing leads into sales through consultative phone-based selling

  • Conduct proactive outbound calling to existing customers and prospects for new business development

  • Achieve individual revenue targets through balanced approach of inbound conversion and outbound prospecting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable short-term sales forecasts

  • Build and maintain customer relationships through systematic follow-up processes

  • Collaborate with field sales teams on lead handoffs and account coordination

You are/ have:

  • Previous sales experience (minimum 1 years) with ability to build rapport and handle objections

  • Ideally have a background in equipment rental power solutions or technical products

  • Ideally have experience with both inbound lead qualification and outbound cold calling conversion

  • Success in consultative selling approaches over the phone

  • Phone-based consultative selling with effective questioning and remote relationship building

  • History of cross-selling and upselling in existing customer relationships in high-performance sales environments

  • Rapid needs assessment to identify requirements and urgency during brief conversations

  • Clear verbal communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences

  • Multi-tasking capability managing concurrent conversations with CRM accuracy

  • Basic experience with CRM systems or systematic record-keeping approaches

  • History of meeting targets or performance standards in previous roles

  • Willingness to learn outbound cold calling techniques and embrace proactive prospecting approach
