Job Summary
Location: Rockhampton
Information & Document Controller
Responsible to provide operational/process/system/ technological/data research collection analysis and performance reporting requirements as required by Network Operations Team.
About the role:
- Assist with maintaining the Aurizon Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) and SharePoint site
- Ensuring the registration and control of documents
- Perform quality reviews (e.g. style format grammar spelling accuracy template use etc) for controlled documents
- Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and standards
- Monitor and respond to internal customer enquiries
- Following and improving document control procedures.
About you:
- Desirable but not mandatory relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in document control
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrated high level computer and software skills
- Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and make recommendations
- Sound communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and to liaise with engineers and technical staff.
