Industrial Sewing Machinist or Textile Fabricator

Location: Redland Bay Business Park Redland Bay QLD

LJ Covers is an Australian-owned industrial textile manufacturing business based in Redland Bay Queensland.

We manufacture custom textile products for a diverse range of industries including commercial construction transport and logistics agriculture government sporting and recreational sectors.

Our purpose-built facility combines traditional textile fabrication skills with modern manufacturing equipment including industrial sewing PVC welding and digital cutting.

We are looking for a Textile Fabricator / Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team.

The role involves the fabrication and manufacture of custom products using materials including:

• Heavy-duty canvas
• PVC and coated fabrics
• Mesh and shade fabrics
• Industrial polyfabrics
• Webbing zips and associated hardware

Experience operating industrial sewing machines and working with heavy-duty materials is highly regarded.

We are looking for someone who has good practical skills takes pride in their workmanship can work accurately from measurements and drawings and enjoys manufacturing a variety of custom products rather than repetitive production work.

Experienced textile fabricators and industrial sewing machinists are encouraged to apply. We are also interested in speaking with candidates who have strong transferable skills and an interest in developing a career in industrial textile fabrication.
