Inclusion Teacher

At Immanuel Primary School we are committed to providing education where each child is supported to grow and develop as a whole person. We are seeking applications from passionate Inclusion educators committed to continuous improvement and making a positive impact for a replacement contract for Term 3 and 4.

This is a part-time 0.6FTE position commencing in July 2026.

As an Inclusion Teacher you will:

• Teach within the classroom framework of the Australian Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program ensuring students with diverse learning needs can access the core curriculum.

• Plan and implement evidence-based student-centered adjustments and interventions that are highly engaging supportive and inclusive.

• Develop monitor and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning pathways to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues school leaders parents and external allied health professionals to build team capacity and ensure continuity of support.

We are looking for someone with:

• Suitable relevant teaching qualifications.

• A strong understanding and experience in the Australian Curriculum.

• Knowledge of or experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program Framework is desirable.

• Knowledge of the requirements for teaching students with specific learning needs and/or disabilities and the impact on learning and wellbeing.

• A passion and commitment to student-centered learning that is evidence-based engaging and inclusive.

• Strengths in communication collaboration and classroom management.

• A demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students parents external providers and colleagues.
