Your New Role and Responsibilities

The Incident Problem and Change Manager is responsible for the governance coordination reporting and continual improvement of the Incident Management Problem Management Major Incident Management and Change Enablement practices within a ServiceNow-based IT Service Management (ITSM) environment.
The role ensures IT services are restored quickly following incidents recurring issues are identified and eliminated through root cause analysis and IT changes are planned assessed approved implemented and reviewed with minimal risk to business operations. Working within an ITIL-aligned framework she collaborates closely with stakeholders service providers and technical teams to maintain service quality compliance and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end Incident Management ensuring timely restoration of services and accurate ServiceNow record keeping

  • Lead Problem Management activities including trend analysis root cause investigations and reduction of recurring issues

  • Govern Change Enablement processes including RFC assessment CAB participation and change scheduling and risk management

  • Drive continual improvement through post-incident reviews reporting and tracking of corrective actions

  • Partner with stakeholders to support governance forums ensure ITIL alignment and meet compliance and audit requirements

About You and What Youll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience (5 years) in IT Service Management including Incident Problem and Change processes

  • Strong understanding of ITIL 4 practices and experience managing major incidents and root cause analysis

  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders and collaborate effectively across business and technical teams

  • Experience producing governance reporting and executive-level insights

  • Familiarity with government or regulated environments with exposure to SIAM CMDB or continual improvement practices advantageous

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance.
