About the Job

Were looking for a Hydrogeologist / Groundwater Modeller to join our growing Brisbane or Perth team and play a key role in delivering groundwater water resource and mine water management projects across Australia.

In this role youll combine strong technical capability with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to deliver practical client-focused solutions. You will be a proactive problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment builds trusted relationships with clients and colleagues and effectively manages competing priorities to achieve successful project outcomes.

What Youll Do

  • Actively contribute to hydrogeological conceptualisation.
  • Carry out numerical groundwater modelling with advanced uncertainty analysis.
  • Provide hydrogeological and technical insights across a range of projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Support the supervision of drilling and aquifer testing programs (this is not a FIFO role).
  • Contribute to the planning coordination and successful delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals contract documentation and technical specifications.
  • Ensure work is completed within the provisions and guidelines of Worleys Quality Assurance System.
  • Implement safe work practices and maintain a strong commitment to health safety and environmental performance.

What Youll Have

  • Tertiary qualifications in Geology or Hydrogeology from a recognised institution.
  • Experience in conceptual and numerical groundwater modelling.
  • Experience with groundwater occurrence abstraction resource evaluation water resource development and environmental impact assessment in Australia.
  • Experience with geological and hydrogeological logging and mapping.
  • Experience presenting hydrogeological information for engineering and/or approval purposes.
  • Experience preparing high-quality technical reports.
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
