HV Electrician

Duties and responsibilities

-Perform maintenance activities on a range of high voltage (HV) electrical assets and systems

-Conduct coordinate or witness inspection and testing such as factory acceptance testing commissioning and site acceptance testing

-Prepare comprehensive progress inspection testing and defect reports

Assist with investigations of HV electrical assets and systems

-Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and issues

-Provide technical advice on the analysis of HV electrical faults failures and asset health

-Participate in complex diagnostic and functional testing on HV protection assets and electronic control equipment to meet manufacturers specifications and legislative requirements.

Skills and requirements

HV Switching Ticket / Authorization

Current WA Electrical Workers License

Applied First Aid (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid)

Air Conditioning / Refrigeration ticket

Experience on Hitachi Komatsu Cat Mobile Electric drive trucks high desirable

8/6 2/2 roster Permanent/full time

$65-$85/h depending on experience
