Human Resources Manager - Corporate and Project Operations

About the Employer
Our client is an infrastructure engineering and construction contractor delivering transport civil and energy projects. Its teams work across design construction and project delivery in Australia.

The Opportunity
Lead strategic and operational people outcomes across corporate functions and Victorian infrastructure projects from a Melbourne office base. Reporting to senior HR leadership you will partner with executives and project leaders throughout the employee lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities
Provide commercially informed HR advice across corporate teams and project operations.
Lead workforce planning organisation design mobilisation and resourcing inputs to tenders.
Manage complex employee and industrial relations award compliance and policy matters.
Act as the senior HR contact for Victorian delivery teams and regional sites.
Guide performance cycles succession talent development and remuneration benchmarking.
Deliver learning initiatives and inclusive people practices.

Requirements
Skills Education and Requirements
A tertiary qualification in HR Industrial Relations Business or a related discipline.
At least eight years of progressive HR experience including senior HR business partner or HR manager work in construction engineering or infrastructure.
Strong Australian employment law modern award and workplace compliance knowledge.
Experience in bid resourcing workforce planning and project mobilisation/demobilisation.
Ability to coach and influence executives and project directors.
