Mater Human Resources is excited to be recruiting a Human Resources Business Partner to join our growing team at an exciting time for our organisation. With the opening of a brand new hospital underway and the acquisition of another in progress this is a unique opportunity to contribute during a period of significant growth and transformation.

This fulltime permanent role is based at our Townsville Hospital with regular time spent across our Pimlico and Hyde Park sites. The role will work closely with and report to a Senior Human Resources Business Partner.

Salary range: $129394 - $133248 per annumplus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!

What youll be doing

Working on-site at Mater Private Hospital Townsville across our Hyde Park and Pimlico facilities youll partner closely with senior clinical leaders to deliver people strategies that support high-quality care and operational excellence. Reporting to and working alongside a highly experienced Senior HR Business Partner youll play a key role in embedding practical outcomes-driven HR solutions within a complex healthcare environment.

No two days will be the same youll be influencing and coaching senior leaders navigating complex people matters and contributing to organisational change all while ensuring HR delivers tangible value directly at the frontline of care.

About you

Youre an expert at building trust solving problems and partnering with leaders to help them shine. You bring a mix of technical HR capability maturity and strong emotional intelligenceand you love making things happen.

Youll ideally bring:

• A tertiary qualification in HR business organisational development or equivalent experience built over 5 years.
• Experience working in a HR Centre of Excellence structure (highly beneficial).
• Strong employee relations problemsolving abilities that lead to sustainable outcomes.
• Excellent coaching skills and exceptional communicationverbal written and interpersonal.
• A high level of discretion integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
• A proactive selfdriven working style with strong attention to detail.
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt confidently to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence leaders build strong working relationships and deliver trusted HR advice.
• Sound knowledge of industrial relations employee relations and HR best practice.
• Experience driving organisational change leadership capability and peoplefocused initiatives.
• Background in healthcare or other complex operational environments (advantageous).
