The HSEQ & Management Systems Business Partner will form a key part of our People Culture and Safety Team providing geographic HSEQ support to northern Victoria and Southern NSW across multiple business lines. The position will be office-based with requirements to perform on-site field safety observations support investigations audits and mentoring for our trade professionals. The role will manage ISO systems within the group including the development auditing and implementation of policies and procedures ensuring all UCS group health safety and environment policies are up to date and compliant with relevant legislation regulations and guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Driving improved safety compliance through practical and engaging interactions
- Setting and implementing a structured measurement and monitoring program across the group
- Review and maintain UCS management systems including integration of acquired business systems for ongoing ISO compliance and improved business outcomes
- Refinement and review of BCPs
- Provision of information for clients / customers as part of onboarding and ongoing compliance requirements through a variety of portals
- Work closely with the operations team in the review of incidents and implementation of operational safety enhancements
- Assist in the ongoing development and review of policy procedures work instructions SWMS and risk assessments
- Delivery of briefings as part of regular toolbox meetings
- Conducting investigations as required.
Selection Criteria
Candidates will need to have extensive safety and systems experience ideally with knowledge and experience within the electrical utility or construction sector. Successful candidates will be highly organised with outstanding organisational time management and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is also a must.
