Our HR team is experienced collaborative and connected to the business partnering with site leaders to source and engage a skilled workforce. As HR Officer you will be a key part in delivering that partnership owning end-to-end recruitment onboarding and HR program delivery across McCoskers projects.

This position will:
Lead recruitment sourcing and selection to support the workforce plan
Coordinate end-to-end onboarding ensuring accurate and compliant documentation and records management
Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and site leaders to deliver a responsive high-quality HR service
Contribute to HR and IR projects programs and continuous improvement initiatives
Actively uphold company policies and compliance standards across all work.
Experience and Skills
Qualification or training in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations and/or equivalent experience.
White card desirable.
Minimum 2 years in sourcing selection and onboarding processes and civil construction experience is a bonus.
Intermediate to advanced MS Office and HR Information Systems.
Sound knowledge of the HR employee lifecycle human resource practices NES awards and enterprise agreements
Ability to implement HR and IR programs ensuring adoption by site leaders
Confident communicator who can negotiate and collaborate with leaders at all levels
High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive people matters
Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and sharp attention to detail
