We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a high-performing HR team supporting a major resources operation. This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with leaders during a significant period of organisational change contributing to both operational excellence and transformational initiatives.
About the RoleReporting to the HR Leadership Team you will play a key role in supporting leaders and employees across a large operational portfolio. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment you will provide strategic and operational HR support while driving change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with leaders to provide expert HR advice and support across a broad range of people matters
- Supporting organisational change restructures workforce planning and transformation initiatives
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and influencing outcomes across the business
- Coaching and supporting leaders to improve capability and effectiveness in people management
- Managing complex employee relations matters and providing practical solutions
- Leading and contributing to HR projects focused on continuous improvement and standardisation
- Analysing workforce data and providing meaningful insights to support decision-making
- Collaborating with shared services teams to ensure effective delivery of HR and payroll processes
- Promoting best practice people management and compliance across the business
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Some experience in a Generalist HR Advisory role
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Demonstrated experience supporting organisational change and business transformation initiatives
- Experience planning and executing complex change programs
- Ability to assess organisational change impacts and recommend practical solutions
- Proven capability to coach and support leaders through people-related challenges
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability and experience working with large datasets
- Experience using HR systems such as SAP Workday and reporting tools
- High attention to detail and a strong understanding of data integrity and governance
- Previous site-based HR experience within the mining resources or heavy industry sector will be highly regarded
