The role:

We are seeking a driven and hands-on Hospitality Operations & Performance Lead to support the performance consistency and operational excellence of our venues across the group.

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and high-performing day-to-day operation of assigned venues through visible leadership strong operational oversight and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Working closely with venue leadership teams you will translate business strategy into practical execution ensuring operational standards financial performance compliance and team culture are consistently upheld across all locations.

This is not a desk-based role success in this position comes from being actively involved in venue operations leading from the floor building strong relationships with teams and ensuring every venue delivers at a high standard every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on operational leadership across all venues supporting live service and acting as a key escalation point for venue managers
  • Lead by example on the floor during peak periods and support venue operations where required
  • Coach mentor and develop venue leadership teams to build capability and future leaders
  • Support recruitment onboarding training and performance management processes
  • Ensure consistent execution of operational procedures service standards and brand expectations
  • Conduct operational audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives across venues
  • Monitor sales labour and cost performance while supporting managers to improve profitability and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with RSA liquor licensing food safety WHS and all operational compliance requirements
  • Oversee stock control inventory management ordering processes and wastage reduction initiatives
  • Support effective use and continuous improvement of POS EFTPOS loyalty and reporting systems
  • Coordinate and support venue promotions events and local marketing activations
  • Assist with onboarding new venues and supporting operational projects that improve group performance and scalability

Skills Qualifications & Key Attributes:

  • Relevant hospitality or business qualification preferred
  • Current RSA certification or ability to obtain
  • Strong understanding of WHS food safety liquor licensing and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience in senior hospitality operations across multiple venues
  • Demonstrated ability to lead coach and develop venue managers and frontline teams
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting labour management and cost control
  • Experience improving operational performance efficiency and profitability
  • Confident using POS systems inventory platforms and reporting tools
  • Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in high-volume fast-paced hospitality environments
  • Experience with operational improvements systems implementation and process optimisation
