Join our team at HPS Calvary Adelaide (Angas St) supporting pharmacy operations within a busy hospital environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring patients receive medications safely accurately and on time.
We are seeking a motivated Inventory Pharmacy Technician to join our operations team at HPS Alexander Avenue. This permanent full-time position focuses on inventory management across multiple locations ensuring stock availability accurate inventory control and efficient distribution of medicines and pharmacy supplies.
The successful candidate will regularly travel between off-site locations and must hold a current drivers licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Dispensing and preparing medications
- Managing stock and inventory
- Supporting clinical governance and compliance activities
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Managing inventory levels and stock replenishment
- Monitoring stock movements and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Coordinating stock transfers between pharmacy locations
- Conducting stocktakes and inventory audits
- Supporting procurement and supply chain processes
- Ensuring compliance with medication storage and stock management procedures
- Providing operational support across multiple sites
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Previous pharmacy or inventory management experience (desirable)
- Current Australian drivers licence
- Access to a reliable motor vehicle (required for the Alexander Avenue position)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
