Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
Carry out light household duties such as cleaning laundry and shopping.
Monitor and record changes in clients health or behaviour reporting concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity privacy and safeguarding at all times.
Skills Experiences and Qualifications:.
Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning laundry meal preparation and maintaining a safe home environment.
Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments shopping and social activities promoting independence and community engagement.
Strong ability to accurately document services provided record incidents and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
A valid NDIS Check or willing to obtain one
Current First Aid Certificate as this is necessary to complete personal care
Valid police check or is willing to obtain one

We are seeking an experienced confident and empathetic NDIS Home Care Worker to provide high-quality morning care for an NDIS participant living in Umina Beach.
This role is a rewarding blend of home care and active community participation. You will play a key role in helping the client start their day effectively maintaining a structured routine and driving them out into the community. Because this role includes Behavioral Support we are looking for a carer who is calm under pressure understands positive behavior support strategies and excels at building strong trusting boundaries.
