About the Role
We are seeking a reliable compassionate and versatile Home Care Workers to provide high-quality routine morning support for a client living on beautiful Bribie Island.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated carer looking for local stable and long-term weekday hours. Your role will be essential in helping the client start their day safely maintaining a comfortable home environment and ensuring they stay active and socially connected to the local Bribie community.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assisting with morning routines including dignified showering dressing grooming and hygiene support.
Domestic Assistance: Helping with light housekeeping including tidying laundry vacuuming mopping and basic meal preparation.
Transportation & Errands: Safely driving the client to medical appointments local shopping centres or running everyday errands.
Social Support & Companionship: Providing engaging companionship and accompanying the client on outings (e.g. local cafes parks or walks along the Pumicestone Passage) to enhance their quality of life.
Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing Support Disability or equivalent (highly regarded).
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check.
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
Valid Australian Drivers Licence and a reliable clean and comprehensively insured vehicle (essential for community transport and outings).
A warm patient and professional approach to home care work.
Valid working rights in Australia.
