Job Description Summary
The Heritage & Environmental Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership across environmental heritage and statutory planning disciplines for telecommunications infrastructure projects. The role manages complex and high risk sitesworks leadsing a small specialist team acts as the escalation point for regulatory matters and ensures compliant efficient project delivery.

About the Role

Lead the management of complex and high risk sitesworks with environmental heritage and planning constraints.

Provide expert advice and guidance to Operations Project Managers and key stakeholders.

Act as the escalation point for environmental heritage and planning issues.

Interpret and apply statutory and regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.

Provide technical and statutory signoff for complex and highrisk matters.

Engage instruct and manage external environmental heritage and planning consultants.

Lead and manage a small team including mentoring workload allocation and capability uplift.

Identify assess and manage regulatory and compliance risks.

Support continuous improvement of governance frameworks processes and technical standards.

Lead and undertake planning activities including Development Applications (DAs) where required.

Interface with clients to reinforce Service Streams capabilities
