Job Summary

Glenorchy City Council is seeking an experienced and proactive Health Wellbeing & Return to Work Advisor to lead our injury management return to work and employee wellbeing programs.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting a safe resilient and engaged workforce while driving proactive health and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Coordinator Human Resources you will:

  • Lead end-to-end injury management and workers compensation case management
  • Drive effective and timely return to work outcomes
  • Provide expert advice to leaders and employees on injury management and wellbeing
  • Design and deliver Councils Health and Wellbeing Program
  • Monitor data identify trends and provide insights to improve outcomes
  • Collaborate with leaders WHS insurers and medical providers to support recovery and prevention
About You

You are a confident and compassionate professional who can balance compliance with people-centred outcomes. You bring:

  • Relevant qualification (HR WHS Injury Management or similar)
  • Experience in workers compensation injury management and return to work coordination
  • Strong case management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to influence leaders and manage complex or sensitive situations
  • Experience delivering health and wellbeing initiatives
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice

Position details: Full-Time 76 hour 9 day fortnight (we will also consider part-time).
