The Bendigo Health Clinical Workforce - HSA Bank is essential in supporting clinical inpatient units during periods of roster shortfalls unplanned vacancies and 1:1 patient observation shifts. The HSA Bank provides staff with the flexibility to accept shifts based on their availability and allocated unit suitability.
To maintain active membership in the Clinical Workforce - Bank staff are required to work a minimum of two shifts per month across a 24-hour roster (Day: Evening: Night: ). Bank activity is monitored monthly and staff who are not active will be contacted.
The Health Services Assistant (HSA) role at Bendigo Health involves supporting Registered and Enrolled Nurses during 1:1 patient observation shifts as well as performing non-nursing duties that contribute to the smooth operation of ward environments.
Requirements:
Completion of 1 year of a health-related discipline or a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
Interest in working in Health Care inpatient units
Availability for flexible working arrangements across a 24-hour roster
