Are you a confident and experienced allied health leader looking for your next challenge At Aruma were seeking a strong established leader to step into a Health Leader role within our multidisciplinary therapy team.

This position is ideal for a Health Leader who has demonstrated leadership experience and is ready to drive team performance service quality and positive outcomes while maintaining a light clinical caseload.

The Role

The role provides clinical leadership within a interdisciplinary allied health team service coordination and nursing expertise. The team delivers services to internal and external stakeholders. The role is responsible for ensuring safe person-centred evidence-based therapy services for children adolescents and adults with disability complex health needs under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and associated service systems.

Leading an interdisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals the role supports staff development coordinates service delivery and contributes to the growth and quality of services. The role promotes positive participant outcomes through collaborative practice risk management education and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mentor and coach a multidisciplinary team to achieve strong performance outcomes.
• Drive a positive team culture focused on collaboration accountability and continuous. improvement.
• Oversee service delivery to ensure high-quality consistent and person-centred care.
• Manage intake service allocation and workforce planning.
• Maintain a small clinical caseload across clinic and community settings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients families and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Nursing / Allied Health and full registration.
• Current Membership of Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
• Proven experience in a leadership role within allied health disability or community services.
• A confident and capable leader who can influence guide and support a team.
• Strong organisational communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes.
• Passion for delivering person-centred family-focused services.
