Are you a highly organised health professional who thrives on supporting student wellbeing through exceptional care collaboration and attention to detailMercedes College is seeking an experienced and compassionate Health Administrator to join our Administration team in a vital role supporting and coordinating student health services across the opportunity offers:A fixed-term contract covering parental leave commencing 12 October 2026 (Week 1 Term 4) until the end of Term 3 2027School hours term time role: 30 hours per week (6 hours per day Monday to Friday) Enjoy school holiday periods with attendance required only during Week 9 of Term 4 and Week 0 of Term 1ESO Grade 4 position under the South Australian Catholic Schools Enterprise UsMercedes College is a Catholic co-educational Reception to Year 12 International Baccalaureate World School in the Mercy tradition located in Springfield South by our vision to be a sustainable internationally minded world class school we develop creative and critical thinkers who become leaders for community is defined by a sense of belonging high expectations and genuine relationships and we live our Mercy Values of Compassion Loyalty Justice Integrity Responsibility and Mutual Respect in the way we work and interact with students families and each the RoleReporting to the Administration Team Leader the Health Administrator coordinates and maintains student health services procedures and records across the is a varied and rewarding role that requires a professional who can confidently deliver health-related administration support while responding calmly and effectively to day-to-day student health will coordinate medication management processes maintain confidential student health records support first aid and emergency response procedures facilitate health-related communication with families and staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of student health and wellbeing in this role requires a strong commitment to student care exceptional organisation and attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and YouYou are a caring organised and proactive professional who:Has experience working in a health nursing allied health medical administration or similar exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to passionate about supporting the health wellbeing and safety of children and young accurate records and documentation while managing multiple confidently and professionally with students families staff and external sound judgement and remains calm in emergency or time-sensitive the importance of confidentiality and manages sensitive information with positive and collaborative working relationships across a diverse school highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications and administrative initiative and works effectively both independently and as part of a and upholds the Catholic ethos and Mercy tradition of the DesirablePrevious experience in a school education or health coordinating student health plans medication management or similar of relevant health education and child safety legislation and and Training:The successful applicant will be required to hold: A Diploma qualification in a relevant health or health administration discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge skills and with Children Check (WWCC).
