About the Role
Were looking for a Head of Technology to step into a key leadership role within our Technology team.
In this role youll lead one of our core technology domains with accountability for delivering business outcomes through technology and owning the performance and evolution of our platforms. Youll guide large cross functional teams across engineering delivery and operations ensuring we deliver at pace while maintaining strong reliable systems.
Youll work closely with senior leaders across both Technology and the business to align priorities shape direction and drive outcomes. Youll also play a key role in building capability across your teams creating a high performing environment where people can grow and do their best work.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead coach and develop a high performing team across multiple disciplines
- Own delivery of technology outcomes aligned to business priorities
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align direction priorities and outcomes
- Oversee platform performance reliability and ongoing optimisation
- Drive continuous improvement using data to enhance delivery and ways of working
- Shape and deliver platform strategy architecture and roadmap
About You
Youre an experienced technology leader who knows how to balance strategy with delivery. Youve led large complex teams and are confident creating clarity and alignment across multiple teams and competing priorities.
Youre highly collaborative and comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders across both Technology and the business. You bring a strong customer focus and use data to guide decisions improve performance and deliver better outcomes.
Youre passionate about people leadership and take pride in building strong capable teams. You create an environment where people feel supported challenged and motivated to grow.
What You Will Bring
- Strong leadership experience within technology digital product or platform environments
- Proven experience leading large cross functional teams of 30 or more
- Track record delivering complex programs and driving meaningful outcomes
- Strong understanding of Agile DevOps or similar delivery approaches
- Experience managing large scale platforms with 24/7 operational requirements
- Strong stakeholder commercial and vendor management capability
