As Head of Operationsyoulllead our national hub network across Sydney Melbourne Brisbane Perth Gold Coast and Adelaide- driving safeefficientand commercially disciplined operations at a team ofManagerssetting the standards and building the capability that underpinsSplendsgrowth across own fleet disposal strategy-ensuring vehicles exit the fleet at the right time and value tomaximisereturn and keep our fleet profile aligned to commercial targets.
Leading and developing six Hub Managers across the national network driving consistent operating standardssafetyand service delivery in every market
Partnering with the National Maintenance Manager to ensure fleet compliance vehiclereadinessand maintenance capacity scales with fleet growth
Working alongside the National Procurement Manager on vehicle acquisitionpartsand supplier contracts including OEM negotiations to deliver national agreements that improve cost and service outcomes
Owning the national operations strategy- standardising processes driving continuous improvement and lifting productivity and customer experience across all hubs
Coaching and developing your leadership team building a high-performing operations function and a strong succession pipeline
Owning the national operations budget and cost base ensuring WHS compliance and regulatory requirements are met in every state
Leading fleet disposal strategy to maximise vehicle return value and keep the fleets age and condition profile aligned to commercial targets
10yearsoperational leadership experience including experience leading leaders across multiple sites or locations.
Experience in automotivelogistics or maintenance sectors ideally within ascale upenvironment.
Stronganalytical skills withconfidencemanaging budgets maintenancecontractsand procurement agreements.
The ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in high pressure situations.
A processdrivenandproblem solvingmindset with the commercial awareness to balance cost control and service quality.
