Head Chef

Were looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our main kitchen and play a key role within our broader culinary operation.

This is a hands-on leadership position where youll oversee the day-to-day kitchen operation lead and develop your team and ensure consistently high standards across food quality presentation and service.

While the main kitchen will be your primary focus youll have the opportunity to work across the resorts wider culinary operation supporting events banquets and other Food & Beverage experiences when required.

What youll be doing:

• Lead the main kitchen operation across preparation production and service
• Oversee food quality presentation and consistency across all services
• Lead coach and develop the culinary team and foster a positive kitchen culture
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage leadership team
• Support the delivery of conferences weddings functions and large-scale events
• Contribute to menu development and bring creativity to the guest experience
• Manage food costs ordering stock control and kitchen resources
• Ensure compliance with food safety HACCP WHS and Accor standards
• Collaborate across the resort to support a seamless and consistent culinary experience

Qualifications :

Were looking for someone who brings:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader
• Relevant culinary qualifications and strong technical skills
• Experience within a hotel resort events or high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for developing people
• Excellent knowledge of food safety HACCP and WHS requirements
• Commercial awareness with experience managing food costs and kitchen resources
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• A hands-on positive and solutions-focused approach
• Flexibility to work across a varied hospitality operation including evenings weekends and public holidays
