Heavy Diesel Mechanic (ANZSCO 321212)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our clients team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting diagnosing repairing and maintaining heavy diesel vehicles and equipment while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults in diesel engines transmissions braking systems and hydraulic systems.
- Carry out servicing maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles and equipment.
- Repair or replace engines gearboxes differentials suspension steering and brake components.
- Perform electrical and electronic diagnostics using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
- Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workplace safety standards.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid drivers licence preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to meet Australian skills assessment and visa requirements.

- Minimum 4 years of recent experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
- Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanics.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines hydraulic systems electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Experience using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair documentation.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Required Skills:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as an Automotive / Motor Mechanic Mandatory experience with luxury or premium brands such as BMW Mercedes-Benz Audi Lexus Jaguar Land Rover Porsche etc. Candidate must be eligible to apply for Australian Skill Assessment (TRA) Willingness to relocate and work in Australia Basic English communication skills (IELTS required at visa stage)
