Grounds Person | 21 | FIFO | Full Time | Cairns, QLD

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Grounds Person to join our this hands-on role youll be responsible for maintaining landscaped areas gardens pathways and outdoor facilities to a high standard ensuring our client sites remain safe functional and visually appealing.

As a Grounds Person your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining gardens lawns pathways car parks and landscaped areas.
• Operating ride-on mowers tractors and a variety of power and hand tools.
• Mowing edging pruning hedge trimming and weed control.
• Removing litter debris leaves grass clippings and graffiti.
• Inspecting and maintaining grounds equipment and vehicles.
• Ordering and maintaining grounds supplies and equipment.
• Reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Conducting routine inspections of fences access roads and outdoor assets.
• Working safely while following all health safety environmental and quality procedures.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance landscaping or horticulture.
• Experience operating ride-on mowers and landscaping equipment.
• A strong understanding of safe work practices and hazard awareness.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A current drivers licence (preferred).
• The ability to obtain any required site clearances or licences.
