Public Attendant
You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Public Attendant you will take ownership of maintaining the cleanliness presentation and hygiene of all public areas throughout the hotel. This role ensures guests experience a clean safe and welcoming environment by delivering exceptional housekeeping standards while adhering to hotel policies brand standards and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.

What you will be doing:

• Clean and maintain all hotel public areas including the lobby reception corridors lifts stairwells public toilets meeting rooms restaurants bars and back-of-house areas.
• Vacuum mop sweep dust and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean windows mirrors glass doors and stainless-steel fixtures.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish guest amenities and consumables in public restrooms.
• Report maintenance issues hazards or damage promptly.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable punctual and well presented.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling prolonged standing walking bending lifting pushing and pulling.
