Our Strategic Policy Science and Engagement Corporate Affairs team with the is currently seeking to appoint a Graphic Design Advisor to deliver engaging visual communications that support key environmental climate energy and water initiatives while helping the community understand and connect with the work of the department.

As Graphic Design Advisor youll create high-quality visual content that supports the departments communications across digital social web and print channels. Working with communications professionals and subject matter experts youll develop engaging design solutions that help explain complex environmental climate energy and water initiatives to diverse audiences. Youll play a key role in maintaining a consistent visual identity and delivering communications that inform and connect communities across NSW.

About You

You are an experienced graphic designer with strong creative and technical skills able to produce high-quality visual content across a range of channels. You have experience developing engaging design solutions interpreting briefs and managing multiple projects with proficiency in industry-standard design software.

You build effective relationships communicate confidently and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. Organised adaptable and solutions-focused you can balance competing priorities while delivering quality outcomes within established timeframes.

Key Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in the use of digital programs and applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud Including but is not limited to: Indesign Illustrator Photoshop Premiere Figma Miro
  • Experience in the use of project management platform Asana

Essential requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in graphic design or commercial art and experience in graphic design or equivalent experience.
