Job Summary

Girton Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior School Graduate Teacher to join our thriving learning community. About the Role

As a Senior School Graduate Teacher you will teach students across Years 712 while working collaboratively with experienced colleagues and Heads of Department to deliver high-quality learning experiences that promote student engagement wellbeing and achievement.

The successful applicant will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and school programs.
  • Develop positive and supportive relationships with students families and colleagues.
  • Foster inclusive learning environments that support the academic social and emotional development of every student.
  • Participate actively in mentoring observation and feedback processes to strengthen teaching practice.
  • Contribute to the broader life of the School through co-curricular programs events and community activities.
About You

You are passionate about teaching committed to professional growth and eager to make a positive contribution to student learning and wellbeing.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated ability or strong capability to teach a secondary subject area across Years 712 including VCE.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or eligibility to obtain registration.
  • Strong communication collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • A commitment to evidence-informed teaching practice and ongoing professional development.
  • A genuine commitment to student wellbeing inclusion and child safety.
