JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Head of Governance the role sits within the Governance & Legal Department of Liverpool City Council and is part of the Governance Team.
The role will see you providing governance and administrative support and assisting the Head of Governance on routine governance of your duties will include preparing and maintaining governance systems and records including templates authorities and registers. Analysing governance data and preparing governance reports supporting training and messaging on governance matters as well as assisting the Access to Information Officer to determine informal applications for the release of documents under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.
ABOUT YOU
Our desired candidate will be experienced in communicating consulting and liaising effectively with a range of stakeholders and have demonstrated experience in analysing data maintaining systems and records and preparing reports.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Administrative experience.
- Demonstrated experience in governance or a similar field.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Knowledgeof Workplace Health and Safety practices the principles of Equal EmploymentOpportunity ethical practice and multi-cultural diversity.
- Desirable criteria: Knowledgeof or experience in policy development and administration delegationsaccess to information requirements and privacy legislation and working at a Council.
