As a Governance Officer you provide authoritative guidance on governance policy and regulatory requirements to university governance and senior management committees. You will deliver high level governance support: preparing submissions agendas and minutes interpreting legislation and policy and ensuring committee decisions align with statutory and institutional obligations. Additionally you will work closely with senior staff on complex matters to support strong compliant and transparent governance across the organisation.
About you
Demonstrated experience in a governance secretariat compliance or executive support role within a complex organisation
Strong interpersonal skills paired with clear confident verbal and written communication
Ability to manage competing priorities meet deadlines and exercise discretion with sensitive information
Continuous improvement mindset
Experience providing administrative and governance support to committees is highly regarded
