Governance Officer

• Location: Darwin
• Status: Full-time ongoing

In addition to this you will have: -

• Minimum Advanced Diploma of Governance Risk and Compliance and/or equivalent experience in similar role.
• Minimum 2 Years of experience in any of the related areas of governance compliance quality assurance corporate policy development or legislative interpretation within a complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement communication and organisational skills with experience preparing high-quality reports and governance documentation facilitating meetings and training and managing competing priorities.
• Current Drivers licence & the ability to undertake occasional remote travel in manual 4WD vehicles and light aircraft.

We offer:

• A base salary of $88214 per annum plus 15% superannuation paid on Base and District Allowance
• Salary sacrificing up to $15900 Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefit up to $2650 per year.
• Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
  • District allowanceof up to $4884 (DA2) per annum for individuals with dependents and $2678 (DA1) without dependents.
  • Generous leave provisions 5 weeks annual leave 18 days personal leave;
  • Paid Christmas close down;
  • Upon completion of 12 months of service anAnnual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $3177;
