Golf & Leisure Attendant

Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is looking for a friendly motivated and enthusiastic Golf & Leisure Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.

As a Golf & Leisure Attendant youll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our members and guests while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Golf Pro Shop and leisure facilities.

As part of our Golf Operations team your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming guests and members processing golf check-ins and bookings and providing outstanding customer service.
• Assisting with retail sales merchandising and maintaining a clean organised and well-presented Golf Pro Shop.
• Providing knowledgeable advice on golf membership resort facilities and local attractions.
• Managing bookings for golf and tennis facilities.
• Supporting daily golf operations including competition administration tee sheet management and field marshalling to maintain pace of play.
• Preparing and maintaining golf carts rental equipment practice facilities and other golf assets.
• Collecting washing and maintaining range balls buckets and equipment.
• Assisting with general maintenance of golf operations areas including the cart shed course amenities and surrounding facilities.
• Completing opening and closing procedures cash handling and general Pro Shop administration.
• Serving refreshments from the drinks cart when required.
• Ensuring Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) standards are always maintained.
• Maintaining guest privacy confidentiality and the highest standards of professionalism.
• Supporting the team with other operational duties as required.

Qualifications :

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A willingness to work outdoors and undertake physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills and confidence learning booking systems.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends public holidays and school holiday periods.
• Previous experience in hospitality retail golf operations or customer service (highly regarded but not essential).
• A current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
