Are you a penultimate or pre-penultimate student looking to kickstart your career with a summer internship Or have you already completed an internship and want to explore whether consulting is the right fit for you

Our Immersive Visualisation team helps bring major infrastructure transport energy and community projects to life through 3D visualisation animation real-time environments and emerging digital technologies. Working alongside visualisation artists designers and technical specialists youll contribute to digital experiences that help clients project teams and communities better understand the places and projects shaping our future.

This opportunity may suit students studying animation games digital media creative technologies architecture design or related disciplines with an interest in visualisation immersive technology and digital storytelling.

Were looking for someone who:

• Has an interest in 3D visualisation animation digital storytelling or immersive technologies
• Enjoys creative and technical problem solving
• Is curious about how digital tools can be used to communicate complex ideas and designs
• Unreal Engine 3ds Max and the Adobe suite (Photoshop After Effects and Premiere) are the tools you will use at GHD but any exposure to similar visualisation tools e.g. Blender Maya (desirable but not essential)
• Is enthusiastic collaborative and eager to learn

During your three months youll:

• Work alongside experienced visualisation specialists on real projects
• Gain exposure to 3D modelling visualisation workflows and emerging digital technologies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including designers engineers and digital specialists
• Develop both creative and technical skills while delivering meaningful project outcomes
• Participate in our broader Intern Challenge alongside interns from across the business

Youll receive meaningful feedback throughout your internship and well help iron out any kinks along the way.

Virtual Assessments: If you make it through the first stage youll record some answers to a few straightforward questions and complete some cognitive games. This helps us get a better sense of your work style and alignment to GHD.

Meet the team: If youre successful youll have a face-to-face interview (wherever possible) with your prospective team. Well chat through some behavioural questions to learn more about your skills and experience. Its also a chance for you to get to know us!

Our Summer Interns generally commence in November and finish up mid-late February to coincide with our next Graduate intake. A number of our interns also continue working in the business on a casual basis after their formal internship period has wrapped up.
