Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist

What youll do
As a Geotechnical Engineer / Geologist in our Ground and Underground team based in Queensland youll contribute to a range of infrastructure and energy projects working alongside a team that values collaboration curiosity and practical solutions.
- Support planning and delivery of geotechnical site investigations in line with relevant standards
- Assist with geotechnical analysis design and reporting across projects
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements
- Contribute to high-quality technical outputs and documentation
- Support ongoing project delivery across infrastructure including major programs and other linear and energy projects
What youll bring
- Bachelors degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Geology (or related discipline)
- 23 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering or geology (consulting experience preferred but not essential)
- Experience in geotechnical site investigations with willingness to travel as required
- Working knowledge of geotechnical software such as PLAXIS GeoStudio Rocscience OpenGround or Leapfrog (beneficial but not mandatory)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude willingness to learn and openness to developing new technical capabilities
- Field experience from consulting contractors or drilling environments is advantageous
