We have an exciting opportunity for a Geospatial Analyst to join the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) where you will deliver high-quality spatial analytics to support both operational and strategic regulatory outcomes and emergency this diverse role you will apply advanced geospatial techniques and data management practices to analyse spatial data develop web mapping applications support field data collection activities and automate Python workflows. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation you will deliver spatial products and intelligence that support compliance monitoring investigations reporting and program tracking. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes while working with innovative geospatial tools and technologies in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Relevant degree level tertiary qualification in geospatial sciences geographic information systems (GIS) remote sensing or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Sound experience in GIS and spatial data management using Esris ArcGIS suite of products including development of web applications and geospatial analysis in ArcPro.
• Strong expertise in the visualisation and presentation of spatial information (i.e. cartography).
• Sound experience in the automation of processes through scripting or batch job creation and/or remote sensing expertise with experience managing and interpreting satellite and aerial imagery.
• Excellent problem-solving organisational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to provide clear advice and work effectively across teams and agencies.
