GEOINT ICT Project Management and Assurance
Job Summary
Must be an Australian Citizen and hold Positive Vetting clearance
(i) Project management knowledge skills and experience in ICT;
(ii) Experience in project delivery preferably within a geospatial intelligence environment;
(iii) Strong leadership communication and organisational abilities; and
(iv) Effective stakeholder management in Complex Projects.
Services to be delivered
(i) Liaising with the lead delivery group and other Commonwealth agencies;
(ii) Supporting and participating in Governance Board meetings and associated governance activities as required;
(iii) Preparing and providing periodic reports on project performance delivery status risks and issues;
(v) Monitoring project budgets resource utilisation timelines and delivery milestones;
(vi) Facilitating risk reviews with the delivery team maintaining CAP1 risk information and ensuring the risk register is reviewed and updated quarterly;
(vii) Providing oversight and assurance for capability replenishment activities including analysing capability replenishment options contributing to the development of the Replenishment Project Agreement (PA) reviewing associated documentation and recommending approval where appropriate;
(viii) Providing assurance over Science and Technology (S&T) activities associated with GCS projects including contribution to S&T Completion Reports.
(ix) Overseeing the delivery of capability through to Final Operational Capability (FOC) including monitoring progress identifying delivery risks and issues and supporting achievement of FOC objectives.
(x) Providing geospatial intelligence advice and input to Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) documentation planning activities and trials to support the achievement of FOC.
(xi) Providing assurance over documentation produced by the delivery team and where required developing documentation on behalf of the Sponsor to support FOC approval and completion of the capability delivery documentation suite.
(xii) Attending Capability Project Management Reviews (PMRs) and providing geospatial intelligence assurance advice reporting and recommendations on capability status performance risks and issues
Required Skills:
Key duties and responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Storage Engineer who has experience working in large complex ICT environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying configuring managing and tuning the departments storage systems at physical and virtual layers. The Senior Storage Engineer will also be responsible to deploy configure and manage Storage Area Network Switches as required. The successful candidate should have knowledge of new and emerging technologies to shape the future direction of the departments storage and data platforms. The role requires producing design documents build documents operations document handover and sharing of knowledge with other team members and mentoring junior team members. Essential criteria experience and knowledge in the design administration tuning and troubleshooting of one or more of the following storage systems: HPE 3PAR Primera Alletra Storage Systems NetApp E-Series Dell Data Domain Brocade Fabric Switches SANnav Scality Artesca to produce design build and operations documents for processes and procedures. communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff. / Knowledge of following technology: Veeam Backup and Replication
