General Manager Data & AI
Job Summary
Were partnering with one of Australias largest and most respected organisations to appoint a visionary General Manager Data & AI. This is a newly created executive role offering the opportunity to establish and lead an enterprise AI & Data Centre of Excellence while shaping the next phase of a large scale digital and data transformation.
Reporting directly to the CTO youll be responsible for defining and executing the organisations enterprise AI data and analytics strategy ensuring data becomes a key driver of innovation operational performance and strategic decisionmaking.
Leading a team of more than 20 specialists youll work closely with executive operational and clinical stakeholders to embed a data driven culture strengthen governance modernise data platforms and unlock the value of AI across a complex national organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead an enterprise AI & Data Centre of Excellence.
- Develop and deliver the organisations AI data and analytics strategy.
- Drive enterprise wide adoption of AI and advanced analytics to improve business performance and customer outcomes.
- Lead data governance reporting business intelligence and information management capabilities.
- Build mentor and inspire a highperforming team across data analytics and AI.
- Partner with senior executives to deliver strategic transformation initiatives.
- Champion modern data platforms interoperability and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and data to create measurable business value.
Youll be an experienced executive leader with a proven track record of leading enterprise data analytics business intelligence or AI functions within large complex organisations.
Youll bring:
- Strong experience delivering enterprise wide data and digital transformation.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate technical capability into commercial and operational outcomes.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and executive influencing skills.
- Experience establishing governance frameworks and leading high performing teams.
- Exposure to highly regulated or complex service environments will be highly regarded.
This is a hybrid role based out of their Melbourne office (CBD).
