Following extensive consultation and careful review the No to Violence (NTV) Board has made the decision to establish Mens Family Violence Services Australia (MFVSA) as a fully independent organisation dedicated to delivering specialist services that work directly with men to end their use of family violence.

MFVSA aims become Australias leading specialist service delivery organisation focused on multi-session and place-based interventions for men who use family violence. MFVSA is positioned to deliver high-quality evidence-informed services that support safer outcomes for victim survivors families and communities.

Recruitment for an independent Board Chair and Chief Executive Officer is currently underway with additional leadership and operational roles to be advertised in the coming weeks. Independent operations are expected to commence on or around 1 October 2026 subject to funding body approvals. About the role

Role Type: Full time permanent

Classification: Management Contract

Location: Hybrid or remote as required with travel as required

The General Manager Corporate Services is a senior executive leadership role responsible for strengthening MFVSAs corporate functions governance systems and organisational capability. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the role will lead corporate services across people and culture quality risk compliance ICT data finance and administration while also fulfilling key governance responsibilities including Privacy Officer and Company Secretary.

This role will suit an experienced values-driven executive who can provide strategic advice build strong systems lead multidisciplinary teams and support the establishment of a safe accountable and high-performing organisational culture. You will work closely with the CEO Executive Team and Board to support strategic planning organisational development risk management business continuity and sustainable operations.

About you

You will be a highly experienced and motivated executive with strong judgement strategic thinking and a commitment to excellence. You will bring a collaborative leadership approach high emotional intelligence and the ability to build trusted relationships with the CEO Board Executive peer and leadership team reporting managers staff and stakeholders.

  • Experience leading professional teams across corporate services people and culture quality risk compliance ICT data finance or business administration.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking planning and problem-solving skills including the ability to support executive and board-level decision-making.
  • Strong people leadership skills including mentoring coaching performance development conflict resolution and communication.
  • Well-developed project management service development planning evaluation and continuous improvement capability.
  • A strong commitment to ethical conduct inclusion safety and the purpose and values of MFVSA.
