Garden Maintenance Team Leader

This full-time hands-on leadership position will see you working within our Horticulture team. Lead your team of garden maintenance staff ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and exceed our clients expectations.

• Provide guidance mentorship and training to the team to enhance their skills and safety practices
• Undertake hands on work including mowing pruning hedge trimming weeding mulching planting and general garden care.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes.
• Operate and maintain tools machinery and vehicles safely
• Report progress issues and requirements to management
• Pest and disease identification and treatment
• Maintaining high horticultural standards and attention to detail

You will be a mature and reliable with high attention to detail who strives to exceed client enjoy being hands on with your team and passing on your extensive knowledge and experience to junior team members.

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens or equivalent experience
• High level organisation and prioritisation skills
• Experience guiding and mentoring team members
• Sound practical experience with a variety of tools and equipment
• Drivers licence is essential
• Ability to pass pass a police and security checks essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
