About the role
The Functional Consultant works within an agile team that delivers solutions using modern supported technologies andis responsible forplanningdesigningand overseeing the construction of applications and software systems through a sound understanding of functional design to meet business needs. The role has a focus of providing functional consultancy and subject matter expertise for TAFE NSW business processes and the associated Dynamics365 Environment.
About you
You will be part oftheDynamics365 team who enjoys maximising value to customers. You will have experience in the Field ServicesFinance and Operation areas of Dynamics 365.
Through your experience and knowledge gained by workingwithMicrosoft Dynamics365 youwill;
- Work closely with clients to understandanalyseand document their business processeschallengesandobjectivesfor system implementation.
- Conduct investigative work to gather requirements usingvarioussources such as interviews document analysis requirements workshops business process descriptions user cases scenarios business analysis task and workflow analysis and user journeys toestablishdetailed knowledge of the current processes.
- Design functional specifications and documentation based on gathered requirements.
- Coordinate with senior systems analysts todeterminetheappropriate courseof action in problem resolution including theaccurateassessment of identified issues todeterminewhether a technical or functional cause and/or resolution.
- Coordinate with the Technical Consultants and end users to designappropriate systemmodifications and technical solutionsto support and resolve any identified system issues.
- Conduct review sessions and work with users/SMEs to incorporate new functionalitiesseamlessly
- Work with agile methodologies toassistin the identification/creation of EPICS Features and User Stories
