Job Summary

This is a perfect position for someone who loves customer service enjoys variety in their working day and likes to work as part of a team but is also comfortable to work unsupervised when required.

The Front Office team form part of our Operations Department meaning not only will you be trained in Front Office Reception but also in Reservations. This will ensure you are able to efficiently cover all areas related to your position whilst developing great transferable hospitality skills! 

We have the opportunity to fill this vacancy with a new Full-Time Part-Time or Casual team member. As we are a hospitality venue you will be required to work a Rotating Roster with shifts between 06:30am and 7:00pm 7 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome Guests to the Resort in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Handle accommodation inquiries & process reservations.
  • Perform and ensure a smooth check-in & check-out experience. 
  • Deliver a high level of professional and friendly customer service that will enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Display a solid customer service approach and deal efficiently with complaints. 
  • Assist with specific guest requirements to enhance their stay.
  • Ensure all aspects of front office / reception run smoothly and effectively.
  • Provide assistance in Housekeeping when required.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working in an accommodation venue in a Front Office Reception or Housekeeping role is desireable.

  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word Excel & Outlook).

  • Strong personal integrity
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.

  • Customer service focused with a passion for delivering high levels of service.

  • A high level of communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to provide a current police clearance or be willing to obtain one.

  • Due to the location of the resort and lack of public transport a reliable mode of transportation is advisable.
