Position

Join the Languages faculty at the Maddingley Campus in a full-time ongoing role commencing in Term 3 2026. You will teach French across Years 5-10 with the opportunity to extend into VCE for the right candidate. This is an opportunity to contribute to a supportive and well-resourced school community while helping students build confidence curiosity and a cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality French lessons across Years 5-10 aligned to curriculum standards;
  • Design engaging and inclusive learning experiences for a range of student abilities;
  • Monitor assess and report on student progress and achievement;
  • Foster students interest in French language and culture;
  • Contribute to faculty planning and the broader school community.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications in French;
  • Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain registration prior to commencement;
  • Demonstrated capacity to teach French across Years 510.
  • VCE teaching capability highly regarded;
  • Commitment to child safety and inclusive classroom practice.
