Freight Operator Level 4

Remuneration/Benefit: As per our Coal EA $71k plus penalties

About the role:

Our Toowoomba depot is seeking a freight operator (shunter) to join their team. Please be aware the training will consist of classroom-based training with additional on the job training to ensure you become a safe operator in the yard.

• Shunting and yard duties (including cleaning)
• Examine and certify trains as ready for departure.
• Work in accordance with Aurizons safety and operational standards and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service.

About you:

• Superior teamwork skills
• Commitment to undertake additional training as required.
• Able to work outside for long durations of time.
• Ability to meet CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessment and other pre - offer checks.
• Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster.
• Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence
