The opportunity

As our FP&A Analyst youll play a key role in supporting the financial rhythm of the Australia and New Zealand business ; managing end-to-end forecasting processes and providing critical insights to stakeholders.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data identifying risks and opportunities and supporting strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid finance foundation advanced analytical skills strong Excel skills great attention to detailcuriosity and the confidence to work with data deadlines and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage key forecasting and reporting processes across Australia and New Zealand from Gross Sales through to Gross Margin.

  • Support monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles including V2V and Polaris ensuring inputs are accurate challenged and delivered on time.

  • Analyse monthly trading performance and help translate results into clear insights risks opportunities and recommendations.

  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of key financial dashboards and reporting tools including V2V and daily sales reporting.

  • Partner with Finance Supply Chain RGM and Commercial teams to support decision-making and improve forecast quality.

  • Support COGS reporting and forecasting including actual vs forecast analysis accruals and communication with internal stakeholders.

What you will bring to the role

  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce Accounting Finance or a related discipline.

  • 3 years FMCG or industry experience is desirable

  • Strong Excel skills Power Query and Power BI and confidence working with large data sets; PowerPoint skills to help communicate insights clearly.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and follow through on recurring reporting processes.

  • A curious and analytical mindset with the confidence to question numbers and understand what is driving performance.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders across Finance Supply Chain and Commercial teams.

  • A proactive attitude willingness to learn and interest in improving how reports tools and processes work.
