Forklift Operator Workshop

About the Role

CrewSELECT is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Workshop Storeperson to join a busy engineering workshop in Bethania. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment keeping workshop operations moving and ensuring freight is loaded unloaded and dispatched safely.

With consistent weekday hours regular overtime opportunities and a long-term position available this is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a respected engineering business.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts to move steel materials and workshop components
• Strap wrap and prepare freight for dispatch
• Assist with freight receivals and deliveries
• Maintain a clean organised and safe workshop

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Proven experience loading and unloading trucks
• Previous experience in an engineering manufacturing or industrial workshop
• Current drivers licence and reliable transport
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Whats on Offer

• $38.00/hr penalty rates super
• Monday to Friday roster
• 6:00am starts
• 8-hour days Monday to Thursday
• Finish early every Friday (6-hour day)
• Overtime available when required
• Immediate start
