Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for one of our major clients located in Cairns.

The important parts:

• Day shift Monday to Friday (6am - 2.30pm). Possibility for overtime.
• Temporary with view to permanency
• Immediate start available
• Paying above award rates - Cairns location

What you will be required to do:

• Safely operate forklifts to transport large heavy and oversized loads
• Load and unload trucks containers and freight in accordance with site procedures
• Move products and materials efficiently throughout the yard
• Carry out pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Ensure loads are secured and handled safely to prevent damage
• Work closely with teams from different departments to meet daily production targets
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all WHS policies and procedures

To be successful in the role you will:

• Hold a current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) essential
• Have extensive forklift operating experience in industrial warehouse or transport environments
• Be confident transporting large heavy or awkward loads safely and efficiently
• Demonstrate excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail
• Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Be reliable punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have a positive attitude with a strong work ethic
